CQC Regulation
Our clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We follow national standards for safety, effectiveness, and patient experience.
- Routine internal audits (notes, radiographs, IPC)
- Team training, incident reporting, and learning reviews
- Written policies reviewed at least annually
Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)
- Decontamination in line with current HTM 01-05 guidance
- Personal protective equipment and hand hygiene standards
- Instrument tracking and sterilisation logs maintained
Radiation Protection
- IRMER-compliant justification, optimisation, and reporting
- Quality assurance tests and equipment servicing
- Dose kept as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP)
Safeguarding & Consent
- Safeguarding leads and documented referral pathways
- Written and verbal consent with clear risks/benefits
- Capacity and best-interest assessments where required
