Clinical governance
- Regulation: the practice at 341 Birmingham Road, Great Barr is registered with the Care Quality Commission. All dentists are registered with the General Dental Council.
- Infection prevention: we follow the Department of Health’s HTM 01-05 guidance on decontamination in dental practices.
- Radiography: X-rays are taken only when clinically justified, in line with IR(ME)R regulations.
- Medical emergencies: the team trains regularly in basic life support, and emergency drugs and equipment are kept on site.
- Safeguarding: all staff are trained in safeguarding children and adults.
- Complaints: if you’re unhappy with your care, please tell us first by calling 0121 582 4557 or writing to the practice. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Dental Complaints Service (for private care) or the General Dental Council.
