CQC Regulation

Our clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We follow national standards for safety, effectiveness, and patient experience.

  • Routine internal audits (notes, radiographs, IPC)
  • Team training, incident reporting, and learning reviews
  • Written policies reviewed at least annually

Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)

  • Decontamination in line with current HTM 01-05 guidance
  • Personal protective equipment and hand hygiene standards
  • Instrument tracking and sterilisation logs maintained

Radiation Protection

  • IRMER-compliant justification, optimisation, and reporting
  • Quality assurance tests and equipment servicing
  • Dose kept as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP)

Safeguarding & Consent

  • Safeguarding leads and documented referral pathways
  • Written and verbal consent with clear risks/benefits
  • Capacity and best-interest assessments where required

We aim to resolve concerns quickly and fairly. To raise a concern, please contact us in writing or by phone.

If you remain dissatisfied, escalation routes are available and will be provided in our written response.
